So what I would appreciate is anyone pointing out the pros and cons of running Gargoyle on the Speedify server (when I say Speedify server, I mean a small low power PC of my own to distribute the internet within my home network, not one of the commercial servers run by Speedify) versus leaving the Netgear router in place to sort out the quotas. This could allow the Netgear to be removed altogether. Then I got wondering about running Gargoyle on the Speedify server as well (in VirtualBox). Use it anywhere in the world without restrictions. I've been thinking of changing things around and creating a dedicated Speedify server that would combine the adsl and both USB modems. The Gargoyle router sits downstream of the Draytek. I have also been running Gargoyle on a Netgear WNDR3700 router to sort out quotas, so that the kids don't chew up too much internet. I did have one of the USB modems hooked into a draytek router to do load sharing but it hasn't always been successful.
